CINESSENCE, promoted by Directorate of Film Festival, is a unique travelling film festival. The best of Indian cinema, that includes National Award-winning and Indian Panorama films,in Hindi, English and regional languages are screened over the weekend in cities and towns that generally have no film production activity, sometimes places that have no cinema halls at all. Films shown are both feature and non-feature,of varying durations, with English subtitles.
